Alice in Wonderland Exhibition – The British Library
I hope you all managed to see the Wonderland exhibition before it closed last weekend.
It was amazing seeing the diary and original manuscript of my huge obsession ‘Alice in Wonderland’.
The exhibit had so many Wonderland items, it was heaven for me!
Right:The diary entry from the ‘boat trip day’ where the story was told. Left: The original manuscript Lewis Carroll gave to Alice Liddell.
First editions above.
The pop up shop!
It was a wonderful trip.. we also went into The Sir John Ritblat Treasures of the British Library Gallery which had many amazing historic documents and books.. Anne Boleyn letters, Beatles Lyrics, Elizabeth 1st letters, 3rd century Egyptian documents for example.
It is a must see for your next trip in London!
